The A Rocha Czech team is excited to invite you to the 6th annual Volunteering week in Keith Morris Eco-center.
Join our team and experience a week full of meaningful work, adventure, and shared moments! You’ll help nature in the beautiful surroundings of our eco-centre, practice your language skills, and enjoy trips, workshops, and evenings filled with music and inspiring conversations.
When: 15th – 22nd August 2026
Programme:
- Above all, lots of fun and joy together, but also work until you get dirty and sweaty.
- You will practice your English and German.
- Morning work in groups in the living garden and in the eco-centre building (cleaning ponds, weeding beds, preparing wood for the winter, building a forest latrine).
- Afternoon active rest, e.g. mini-course in ornithology, mycology and herbalism, observation of bumblebees exploration of the wetland area, trips to the Eagle Mountains and other interesting places.
- Mornings and evenings with songs, talks and Bible readings on environmental topics, lectures, concert
- Evenings together sharing participants’ experiences in the field of nature conservation.
Accommodation: preferably in your own tent or forest shelter, some in the privacy of our friends, there is space for a mattress in the building
Food: we will eat together food prepared by a professional chef with your generous help.
Food and energy allowance 1 500 CZK,- for the whole stay, students 1 200 CZK.
Can’t make it the whole week? Come just for a few days.
Capacity is limited to 40 persons and the spots are filling up fast. Currently, 20 spots remain.
