DESCRIPTION:Op 3 juli organiseert Arocha Amersfoort een nachtvlinderexcursie. We beginnen de avond met een introductie. Rond 22:30 starten we onze zoektocht naar nachtvlinders. Onder begeleiding van Marc Dijksterhuis leer je alles over deze fascinerende insecten die ’s nachts tot leven komen. Een unieke kans om het nachtleven in de natuur van dichtbij te ervaren en meer te weten te komen over het belang van nachtvlinders in ons ecosysteem. Mis deze bijzondere ervaring niet! \nLet op: er is een maximaal aantal van 15 deelnemers. Opgeven is verplicht en kan door een mail te sturen naar amersfoort@arocha.org\nWil je erbij zijn\, geef je dan snel op om teleurstelling te voorkomen.

DESCRIPTION:Tijdens deze avond neemt Esther Gijsbertsen van dorpsakker de Parel je mee in alle stappen van bloem tot zalf.\nAan het einde van de workshop ga je naar huis met een potje eigen gemaakte goudsbloemenzalf en heb je de kennis om dit thuis te herhalen. \nDe goudsbloem (Calendula) heeft geneeskrachtige eigenschappen en werkt ontstekingsremmend. Tijdens de avond krijg je ook een rondleiding door de ecologische moestuin waar de prachtige oranje/gele goudsbloemen in bloei staan. \nKoffie/thee met wat lekkers zijn bij de avond inbegrepen.

DESCRIPTION:The A Rocha Czech team is excited to invite you to the 6th annual Volunteering week in Keith Morris Eco-center.\nJoin our team and experience a week full of meaningful work\, adventure\, and shared moments! You’ll help nature in the beautiful surroundings of our eco-centre\, practice your language skills\, and enjoy trips\, workshops\, and evenings filled with music and inspiring conversations. \nWhen: 15th – 22nd August 2026 \nProgramme: \n\nAbove all\, lots of fun and joy together\, but also work until you get dirty and sweaty.\nYou will practice your English and German.\nMorning work in groups in the living garden and in the eco-centre building (cleaning ponds\, weeding beds\, preparing wood for the winter\, building a forest latrine).\n\n\nAfternoon active rest\, e.g. mini-course in ornithology\, mycology and herbalism\, observation of bumblebees exploration of the wetland area\, trips to the Eagle Mountains and other interesting places.\nMornings and evenings with songs\, talks and Bible readings on environmental topics\, lectures\, concert\nEvenings together sharing participants’ experiences in the field of nature conservation.\n\nAccommodation: preferably in your own tent or forest shelter\, some in the privacy of our friends\, there is space for a mattress in the building\nFood: we will eat together food prepared by a professional chef with your generous help. \nFood and energy allowance 1 500 CZK\,- for the whole stay\, students 1 200 CZK. \nCan’t make it the whole week? Come just for a few days. \nCapacity is limited to 40 persons and the spots are filling up fast.
